Background:
After receiving her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Auburn University, Doctor LeeAnn Greenwell spent three years near Chicago in a mixed animal/emergency clinic. In 1998, Southern Illinois became her new home, and she began practicing small animal/emergency medicine at Spears Animal Hospital in Carbondale, Illinois. Over the past ten years, she enjoys educating clients, preventative medicine, holistic medicine, and surgery.
Dr. Greenwell has been affiliated with the Veterinary Technology Program at SICCM since February 2009 and began teaching in the Fall of 2009. She enjoys giving the students a practical, hand-on prospective of veterinary medicine along with the their academics. Case studies and applied learning take precedence in the classroom whenever applicable. In August 2010, Dr. Greenwell became the Program Director.

Background:
Mrs. Morgan’s career in animal health began by working in a small animal practice in Mount Vernon, IL until deciding to pursue training as a Veterinary Technologist.
After receiving her Bachelor of Science in Animal Health Technology from Murray State University in 2004, Mrs. Morgan began working as Senior Veterinary Technician in the Oncology Service at University of Missouri – Columbia. In summer of 2007, Mrs. Morgan returned to Southern Illinois and joined the faculty of the SICCM Veterinary Technology program where she educates future Veterinary Technicians.
