TUITION/FEES

EXPENSES

Costs will vary among the four participating institutions because tuition fees per credit are not the same at all campuses.  For specific campus tuition, consult individual school catalogs.  Within this highly mobile program, admitted Vet Tech students will be responsible for the following expenses:   

 

  1.       Examination fee for Health Occupation Aptitude Examination -Revised  ($20.00, prior to admission)

  2.       Tuition

  3.       College fees, which include Program fees: $200.00 per Vet Tech course

  4.       Books

  5.       Costs of transportation to classroom for Vet Tech courses and clinical sites

  6.        Scrubs, a lab coat, and boots

  7.       Stethoscope and bandage scissors

  8.       Rabies vaccination (optional, but recommended)              

 9.      Application fee for certification examination: NVTE $200.00,         Illinois State - $103.00

10.        Physical examination

11.        Demonstration of personal health insurance or Medicaid

12.        Professional organization fees:
