The primary goal of a Grants Administrator Assistant is to help participants receiving government assistance in their efforts to obtain employment.

The Grants Administrator Assistant’s primary responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement work readiness training.
  • Develop and implement job search training.
  • Guide participants in job search.
  • Monitor and report activities of participants.

Part-time, 12-Months

Compensation

$16-$18 per hour

Job Description

The primary function of the Client Service Specialist is to assist with the day-to-day operations of the grants administered by SICCM. The Client Service Specialist will play a crucial role within the grants team and will be responsible for the following:

  • Assisting clients with shopping for work and interview appropriate attire.
  • Delivering bus passes and gas cards to clients.
  • Tracking and reporting client activities.
  • Documenting actions taken to support clients.

Depending on ability, experience and education, the Client Service Specialist may absorb responsibilities such as conducting assessments and teaching work/job search related skills.

***SURGICAL TECHNOLOGY ADJUNCT LAB INSTRUCTOR***

Are you a current, Certified Surgical Technologist looking to expand outside of the operating room?

Southern Illinois Collegiate Common Market (SICCM) Surgical Technology Program is an accredited program looking for an adjunct lab instructor ready to train and deliver the next generation of CST’s in our community. SICCM is committed to quality training and student preparation for the next step in the operating room work force.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be a graduate of an accredited surgical technology program.
  • Possess a current CST credential.
  • Minimum two (2) year operating room/scrub role experience or an instructor in surgical technology, or a combination of both within the past five (5) years.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of an associates degree.
  • Prior teaching experience.

Job Requirements:

  • Providing instructional services in the laboratory of the Surgical Technology Program.
  • Utilize innovative, effective, and equitable teaching techniques.
  • Meet all required deadlines in a timely manner.
  • Practice appropriate safety precautions.
  • Positive communication with all students.
  • Maintain a positive and engaged classroom.

Schedule:

  • Monday – Friday (Part-Time)
