The occupational therapy practitioner works with people who are limited by physical injury or illness, psychosocial dysfunction, developmental or learning disabilities, poverty and cultural differences, throughout the aging process, prevent disability and to maintain health and wellness.
The ultimate goal is to improve the client’s quality of life and successfully engage in meaningful activities.
